Although young, MSA is well experienced in training, strategic review and planning, governance and board development, management systems review and development, program development and management, partnership building, conference management, management research and report writing. With funding support from Packard Foundation and MacArthur Foundation, MSA manages three (3) projects (Reproductive Health Program Support Services, Organisational Effectiveness and Strategic Advocacy Management). These are projects that enable MSA provides project, management and institutional capacity building technical services to about fifty (50) grantees and sub grantees of these Foundations in Nigeria.

On these projects, MSA has designed and facilitated strategic review, planning and management projects, co-facilitated strategic planning workshops for other clients, supported organization development including governance & board development initiatives, assisted clients to review or design general and financial management systems, designed and conducted training courses on leadership skills, project management, sexual & reproductive health and HIV/AIDS, proposal development & resource mobilization, monitoring and evaluation, and writing skills; and supported networks of grantees of MacArthur and Packard Foundations.

MSA has rich experience in implementing and partnering with others to implement reproductive health projects in Nigerian communities. At the inception, MSA provided institutional base to the operations of Packard Foundation in Nigeria including receiving, reviewing and recommending proposals for funding to the Foundation, providing guidance and technical assistance to the Grantees and Sub Grantees of the Foundation, receiving and reviewing progress reports, advising the Foundation, and providing support to Government on behalf of the Foundation. As part of our mandate on these projects, we have also provided seed grants to a number of the grantees of these Foundations to implement supplementary activities to their main projects

MSA is also well experienced in M&E, including capacity building for the M&E function. An important component of MSA’s Reproductive Health Program Support Services (RHPSS) project funded by Packard Foundation since 2003, is M&E  especially data collection for decision-making. This has placed MSA in a strategic position to design systems and tools for data collection from other grantees of Packard Foundation in Nigeria. In addition, through the project, MSA has designed and conducted evaluation of three Reproductive Health Projects implemented by three Packard Grantees, namely: Ipas Nigeria, Centre for Development and population Activities (CEDPA), and Planned Parenthood Federation of America-International (PPFA-I). Under our Organizational Effectiveness project, also funded by Packard Foundation, MSA has assisted ARFH, WHARC, and ECWA, all Packard Grantees and Sub-grantees. Through her team of M&E technical experts, MSA has led a good number of Monitoring and Evaluation exercises for many organizations and projects including Packard Foundation grantees (PARE, FOMWHAN, SWODEN etc), MacArthur Foundation grantees, MTNF Foundation projects of which PAMAC, YFC, and CARES projects, all managed by Hope World Wide Nigeria, were among. MSA has specifically and recently concluded evaluation of three of the MTNF supported projects and currently evaluating another three: How to Guide Project, UNICEF Child Friendly School Initiative, and HIV/AIDS Touch Screen Project. This year, MSA commenced support to Knowledge Management Initiatives within the work streams of Kaduna work programme under the SPARC project (DFID Funded) MSA also takes responsibility for the systematic evaluation of all the projects managed by her including the USAID Target State High Impact Project (TSHIP), a USAID funded project, MSA is responsible for the OD component of the project.
